- Indentations in the shingles- The indentations will either be half-moon or round in shape. Sometimes you may not see the problem. You may have to take a shingle and feel the underside for the damages.
- Tears in the shingles- The areas that may sustain these tears are butt edges of the shingle, ridges, hips, and the sides of the dragon's teeth. However, the worse damages from a hail storm can be n a reproof that has irregular surface support.
- Excessive Granule Loss- If you see spots where the granules are gone on your shingles check around the gutters and on the ground. Other areas that can be affected from damage are cars, trees, shrubs, windows, and skylights.
